Year 12 Information Evening for Parents and Carers

It was lovely to welcome so many Parents and Carers of our new Year 12 into school on Thursday 5th September.  Dr Evans began the evening by welcoming Parents and Carers and congratulating our Year 12 on their excellent GCSE results.  Mrs Webb, Director of Sixth Form, then introduced the members of the Sixth Form Team who will be supporting our students, outlined ways in which Sixth Form study should be approached and shared general informant about Sixth Form expectations and routines.  Our three Head Students, Georgina Cook, Natalija Kelly and Luke O’Brien also shared their advice about ways to approach the step up to A levels and other level 3 qualifications and how to get the most out of Sixth Form in terms of enrichment, service and extra-curricular activities.

Following the formal talks Parents and Carers were able to speak to all our Year 13 Subject Champions who were ready to share their top tips for success in each of the individual subjects.
