First Aid at Prince Henry's

This page is designed to outline the provision for First Aid at Prince Henry’s. In any instance, when a student falls ill or has an injury, they must report to student reception for an assessment by a trained first aider. Where this isn’t possible, a staff member will call a first aider to the site where the incident occurred so an assessment can be made. Once an evaluation of the illness or injury has taken place, this will be defined as a major or minor incident. If the student is on a care plan, then the first aider will follow the procedure set out in their health or safety plan.
