Geography
The Geography curriculum aims to inspire all students, regardless of their backgrounds, to become confident, globally aware citizens. We strive to prepare them for lifelong discussions about the world. Students will gain a meaningful understanding of various places, environments, and features, enabling them to critically evaluate claims about their surroundings.
The KS4 Geography course builds on what students learned in Year 9, while introducing greater challenges. They will explore topics such as rainforests and deserts, the distribution of global resources, and urban issues and challenges.
Throughout the course, students will work with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and take part in fieldwork activities.
