Geography
The Geography curriculum aims to inspire all students, regardless of their backgrounds, to become confident, globally aware citizens. We strive to prepare them for lifelong discussions about the world. Students will gain a meaningful understanding of various places, environments, and features, enabling them to critically evaluate claims about their surroundings.
The KS3 Geography course explores a wide range of human and physical topics, such as “Are natural disasters truly natural?” and “Is Africa cursed or blessed by its geography?” Throughout the course, students will engage with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and participate in fieldwork. The knowledge acquired in KS3 Geography serves as a solid foundation for further studies in GCSE Geography.
