Geography
The Geography curriculum aims to inspire all students, regardless of their backgrounds, to become confident, globally aware citizens. We strive to prepare them for lifelong discussions about the world. Students will gain a meaningful understanding of various places, environments, and features, enabling them to critically evaluate claims about their surroundings.
The KS5 Geography course expands on the knowledge gained in GCSE, presenting students with more advanced challenges. They will delve into topics such as population and the environment, hazards and changing places.
Throughout the course, students will work with Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and take part in fieldwork activities.
