ICT, Computing & Media
All students have one lesson in IT skills every two weeks. These lessons are aimed at providing students with the skills they need to know to stay safe in the modern technological environment and also in practical skills they will find useful in a range of GCSE option subjects. Our goal is to ensure that students can get the most from their use of technology in order to maximise their attainment across the curriculum at GCSE and beyond. Students will be introduced to the technology landscape at Prince Henry’s and then follow units of work covering topics such as Protecting Your Digital Reputation, Effective Use Of Online Tools, Using Office Productivity Software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
