Sixth Form students from Prince Henry’s High School have once again reached the South Worcestershire final of the Young Enterprise competition, due to take place on 30th April. The girls’ team, Identity, have created a range of bags with local company Juteco and have been responsible for designing the artwork, as well as creating all the sales outlets, in support of the Tracey Sollis Trust. This local cancer charity is named after a former Prince Henry’s student.
The boys’ team have also shown real entrepreneurial flair. The Flower Pot Men have created a range of wooden plant pots, selling their products door to door, as well as approaching a number of garden centres. Their tenacity and hard work has paid off, with the team succeeding in securing a contract to supply Webbs of Wychbold.
