We are delighted to celebrate the achievement of Year 9 student Rose Chugg-Martin, an exceptional horse rider and dedicated young volunteer.
Rose recently attended the prestigious Badminton International Horse Trials, where she was presented with the British Eventing Young Volunteer of the Year Award. This is a fantastic recognition of Rose’s commitment, enthusiasm and contribution to the sport.
As part of the event, Rose also took part in a short interview, speaking beautifully despite feeling a little nervous. Her confidence, maturity and passion for eventing were clear to see.
There was also time for Rose to walk the BE90 Grassroots Championship course — an inspiring moment, as qualifying for this championship in 2027 is a big ambition for her.
We are incredibly proud of Rose and look forward to following her continued success both as a rider and as a young volunteer within British Eventing. Well done, Rose.
