YEAR 13 VISIT TO NOTTINGHAM UNIVERSITY
A group of 30 Year 13 students visited the University of Nottingham for the open day at the start of term. Students had the opportunity to explore the campus, find out about student life and see the accommodation and facilities on offer. They also attended general talks on finance, applying to university, student life and interview technique as well as specialist subject specific talks. There were also many different events organised in each of the different faculties so students experienced activities across the range of subjects including Engineering, Politics, Medicine, Pharmacy, Animal Sciences, English, Psychology and Mathematics. This visit to a prestigious Russell Group University was organised as part of the ongoing programme of guidance for Year 13 students who are applying to University.
