On activities day the Year 12 students visited London and were able to enjoy a range of different activities. The bus dropped the students off at the V & A museum and some students chose to start their day at one or other of the different museums in Kensington. Other students chose to go further afield, either enjoying the sunshine in Hyde Park, shopping in Knightsbridge or Oxford Street, or going on a sightseeing tour around Central London. One group of students had booked into an Escape Room and others had planned their day around a visit to the Imperial War Museum. The weather was beautiful and some students hired pedalos and ventured out across the Serpentine and a hardy few even went swimming in the Serpentine Lido. All the students enjoyed an excellent day out, arriving back for the return journey home in many cases weighed down with their purchases, tired, hot and happy.
