50 students in Year 12 visited Cardiff University, where they enjoyed a range of talks and a tour of the campus. It proved to be a good chance for students to explore a campus university and find out about the courses on offer at this Russell Group university. The formal talks were very enlightening and informative, and despite the rain, the campus tour was really useful. The day concluded with a Q&A session with current Cardiff students which provided excellent insights into life at university, both academic and social, student well-being, the UCAS application process, different degree courses and specific information about Cardiff University. This visit was part of the Post-18 options part of our Enrichment and Guidance programme and followed our very successful Next Steps Conference on Wednesday.
