YEAR 12 AT SWYNNERTON CAMP
Year 12 enjoyed an action packed day at Swynnerton Camp in Staffordshire sampling a range of different activities designed to stretch and challenge them and to develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
The highlight of the day was the chance to tackle the army assault course and students bravely did battle with the high walls, tunnels, ropes and other obstacles. They also applied camouflage make up and did some field craft skills building bivouacs in the woods and exploring the area. They participated in a range of other team work challenges and had the opportunity to try out the shooting simulation activity using indoor assault weapons role-playing a range of scenarios. It was a real pleasure to see the students throwing themselves into the different challenges and having a lot of fun; it was also an excellent way for the whole year group to get to know each other better. A good time was had by all!
