On 22nd November, a group of Year 11 students visited Selwyn College for the day to find out more about studying in Cambridge. There was an excellent talk in the College about university life in general, Cambridge University specifically, and some information about the application process. Two current university students answered questions and did a tour of Selwyn College before we all had lunch in the dining room. After lunch there was a tour of other parts of the university including the main university library with its spinning books sculptures, and the opportunity to explore the town.
