On Tuesday 22nd October, a group of Year 12 students visited Oriel College in Oxford. They were given a talk about applying to Oxbridge, and had the opportunity to speak to some current students about studying at Oxford. After a tour of the College, they were treated to lunch in the dining hall. The day finished with a tour of the city, including such sites as the Bodleian Library, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Divinity School. Overall, the trip gave students an insight into life at Oxbridge, and helped to de-mystify the application process. A valuable and worthwhile day.
