On Wednesday 1st October, 50 drama students in years 10-13 had a visit to London’s West End to see ‘Wicked’. The performance was absolutely super and the students thoroughly enjoyed the production. A real favourite in the cast was Laura Emmitt who played Elphaba. Our students were very impressed as she was the understudy. ‘Defying Gravity’ at the end of Act One, ‘As Long as You’re Mine’ and the powerful ‘For Good’ really hit the spot and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Our students were a pleasure to take and a really fantastic day was had by all.
