“The Lizards,” a band formed by talented students from Prince Henry’s High School, during the Summer break have been performing locally in their community. Their journey has been nothing short of remarkable, and they’ve recently achieved two significant milestones that deserve celebration.
During the first weekend of the summer holidays, The Lizards demonstrated their musical abilities by winning the prestigious ‘Worcestershire Youth Music Award.’ Their performance in front of a large and appreciative audience was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing their commitment to their craft and their ability to captivate listeners with their music. This victory not only recognises their incredible talent but also highlights the bright future that lies ahead for these young musicians.
In addition to their musical achievements, The Lizards have also demonstrated their kind-hearted spirit by participating in a charity event that raised nearly £3,000 for the Midland Air Ambulance. Their performance in the bustling Market Square, in front of a massive crowd, was a testament to their ability to connect with people through their music. The overwhelming support they received from the audience speaks volumes about the impact they have on their community, as everyone who witnessed their performance was left in awe.
