Bullas, Mr Bullas the man with” The Midas Touch”! The opening number of the Summer Prom concert – you’ve guessed – was Bond, James Bond. The medley allowed his “diamonds” to sparkle from the stage amazing all with their breadth and depth of talent. The variety of performances on the program was a showcase of the skills at Prince Henry’s. From Big Band to Barbershop, Billy Joel to Gershwin, original compositions to covers everything was performed to the highest standard. To pick out individuals for praise would be unfair, but a special mention and vote of thanks must go to all of the Year 13 students who were making their last performance in school. Over the last 5 years they have been outstanding ambassadors for the school and hopefully they will go on to scale new heights. A penultimate track by Queen said “Don’t stop me now”, there is no stopping this talent and always remember “Nobody does it better”.
