Prince Henry’s is proud to celebrate the remarkable contribution of our students who have taken part in the volunteering section of the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award. Over the past year, their dedication, compassion, and commitment to supporting others have been formally recognised with a Social Value Certificate, highlighting the significant positive impact they have made within our wider community. In the last year, students at Prince Henry’s volunteered for a total of 3,484 hours with a social value of £26,303.
Volunteering is an integral part of the DofE program. It is about more than just students giving their time; their volunteering hours allow them to develop a passion for a cause or learn new skills that set them up for the future. We are so proud of the young people dedicating their time and energy to volunteering.
Dr Evans, Headteacher, and Mr Pilling (DofE Manager) are pictured alongside Eivina Baziliauskaite who is completing her Bronze Award, Jake Paul who is completing his Silver Award and Elizabeth Ukse and Mille Boreham who are both completing their Gold Award and are the first Young Leaders at the school.
We look forward to seeing the continued success of our DofE participants and encourage more students to get involved in this rewarding and impactful programme.
