Our annual Speech Day took place on Friday 5th July. Our Chairman of Governors, Mr Butcher, welcomed everybody and opened the celebration which comprised of a blend of presentations and videos from Dr Evans to reflect everything that has happened within the Prince Henry’s community over the last academic year. We were delighted that so many parents, carers and other family members and friends were able to come along to the Henrician Theatre to celebrate in the achievements of our students. Following the presentations and wonderful performances by Nyah Anderson and our Year 11 Rock Band, The Lizards, we all enjoyed a buffet lunch in the Princess Royal Hall and Henry’s. Special thanks to our Guest Speaker, Will Close, the Olivier Award-winning actor, who spoke fondly about his time at Prince Henry’s as did our Head Student, Beatrice Williams, when she gave the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the student body. As a former student, Will expressed how the values instilled in him from his school days have shaped his successful career within the world of theatre, film, and radio.
