From what location can you see 16 English counties all at once? Our Year 13 Geography students discovered the answer is from the top of Broadway Tower. Armed with their clipboards and survey sheets, Year 13 Geography students set off to the Broadway Tower country park to practise their fieldwork skills. They learnt about the Cotswolds’ status as a nationally recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and looked for evidence that it was successfully protected. The group then descended down the hill into the village of Broadway itself. Students then spent the afternoon collecting data to analyse the range of people who visit the area and determine what attracts tourists and what impact they might have on the village.
