SIR HENRY FOWLER

We were formally invited to the former LMS Station in Evesham for the unveiling of a plaque in honour of Sir Henry Fowler K.B.E (1870 – 1938) on 27th January 2016. Sir Henry Fowler was a chief mechanical engineer of the Midland Railway and former pupil of Prince Henry’s Grammar School (now Prince Henry’s High School). Today we continue to award a prize for mathematics in Sir Henry’s name on our annual Speech Day. It was a great pleasure to meet those that attended and to find out more about Sir Henry Fowler and the kind gentlemen he was.
