Year 11 student Seb Ranner recently travelled to the Netherlands to compete at the Cable World Championships, an international event featuring around 150 athletes from 19 countries, including competitors from Australia, Japan and Indonesia. The championships were held at ENTC Cable in Weert and followed an extensive period of training and familiarisation.
Despite being only 15 years old, Seb competed in the Under-19 category due to the competition age classifications. This provided a fantastic opportunity to compete against some of the world’s best young athletes and gain valuable international experience.
Everyone at Prince Henry’s High School is incredibly proud of Seb and all that he has achieved. His dedication, commitment and determination to perform at such a prestigious international event are an inspiration, and we look forward to following his future successes.
