U14 Cricket team beat Baxter College by 7 wickets
In tennis our boys u15 ‘A’ team beat Malvern College 5-1 while the ‘B’ team lost 4-2. Our ‘A’ team will now progress to the regional finals.
The girls u15 tennis team had a walkover victory against The King’s School.
In the District Athletics we enjoyed great success with lots of individual athletes winning events and qualifying for the County Finals. Our Junior boys, Junior Girls, Intermediate boys and Intermediate girls all won their separate competitions and therefore overall we managed to retain the Priest Cup.
Will Gearey enjoyed more success in the pool when he won five gold medals at the 2017 ASA West Midlands Swimming Championships held at Coventry. He is currently second in the UK rankings within his age group for the 50m freestyle; fifth for the 100m freestyle, and tenth for the 50m butterfly.
