In the County badminton finals we had three teams representing South Worcestershire and they all played well with the KS3 boys team finishing as runners up, the KS4 girls 3rd and the KS4 boys 5th.

This week we have received confirmation that five athletes have qualified for the English Schools Cross Country National Finals. This is the third year in a row where we have contributed more runners to the Hereford & Worcestershire team than any other school. Congratulations go to Megan Davis, Aimee Lane, Susie Hoare, Lottie Roberts and Eleanor Tarring.

In the County table tennis individual finals we had lots of PHHS students involved and they all performed creditably. Special congratulations to Ed Sommers who was crowned u19 County Champion and will now go through to the English Schools National finals. He will be joined by Abi Ingles, Sophie Arrandale and Alex Emms who have also gained selection following their performances at the weekend.

Our u18 Netball team unfortunately lost to Chipping Campden. However, our u14 and u15 teams both enjoyed wins over The De Montfort School.

There were also wins for our u14 and u16 football teams who both had comfortable wins over Winchcombe school.
