Prince Henry’s students who are members of Sea, Air, Army and Fire Cadets, together with students from the Girl Guides, Scouts and Brownies, took part in an Act of Commemoration outside the front of the school today at 11am to remember those who have given their lives in the service of their country during conflicts including the First and Second World Wars.
Mr Cooper led the ceremony which was complemented by a recital of the poem ‘For the Fallen’ read by Head Students Zoe Brotherton, Iris Risdale and Steven Unwin. The parade was led by Sgt Richard Talbot-Smith of the Pershore Air Cadets, while Mr Fisher performed the ‘Last Post’.
A two-minute silence was also observed by the whole school community.
