Remembrance Assemblies

This week, students have been attending assemblies focusing on the significance of Remembrance Day. These assemblies have aimed to educate students about remembering those who have served and sacrificed their lives for their country. Students have gained a deeper understanding of the impact of war and the importance of honouring those who have fought for peace and freedom. The assembly concludes with a performance by our Prince Henry’s Chamber Choir.

On Friday, the school will hold its own Remembrance Service, where the entire school will come together to pay their respects to those who have fallen. The service will feature a two-minute silence, allowing students to reflect on the sacrifices of our service men and women. Additionally, on Sunday, November 12th, Dr Evans and the Head Students will represent the school at the Evesham War Memorial, laying a wreath to commemorate those who have served and fallen.
