Following our recent Evening of Remembrance as part of Prince Henry’s commemoration of the outbreak of WW1, the school was delighted to hand over a cheque to representatives of the Evesham branch of the Royal British Legion. The event, which raised a total of for £882.72, saw Prince Henry’s students performing a wide range of song, drama, music, poetry and other readings related to the war and its impact and a very moving evening culminated in the Last Post, with members of the British Legion, junior Cadets from the school and two Chelsea Pensioners on stage, joining the audience in a one minute silence.
