Poetry & Pizza

NATIONAL POETRY DAY

To celebrate National Poetry Day we held a ‘Poetry and Pizza’ event in the LRC on Friday. There was a wonderful atmosphere as students from Years 9, 10 and 11 shared poems that they loved. Some were funny, some were thought-provoking and some were inspirational  – all were affecting and many students shared their own compositions. Who knows – we may have a future Poet Laureate in the making!
