Dear Parent/Carer,
We are delighted to be able to share details of an upcoming Online Safety Conference that we will be hosting in partnership with West Mercia Police and the University of Worcester. Please see the attached flyers for further details of the vital information that will be shared during the conference in order to keep children safe online.
The conference is open to all parents/carers/staff and is free of charge to attend. It can be accessed by either attending in person or by streaming the event online. Please see details below.
Date: Monday 27th November 2023
Time: 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
To attend the event via Microsoft Teams, please click here.
To attend the event in person at Arrow Vale School, please click here.
During the conference, West Mercia Police will share hard-hitting details of real-life online crime, and most importantly, the actions that you can take to keep your children, yourselves, and your wider family/friends safe in an ever-evolving digital age.
Due to the nature of the information that will be shared, the event is not suitable for children of compulsory school age.
In the previous academic year, staff from Central Region Schools Trust attended an eye-opening online safety conference for professionals at West Mercia Police Headquarters. The aim of our joint Online Safety Conference is to now try and share this important learning with a far wider audience, in order to keep our communities safe.
Yours sincerely,
Scott Crane
