Nigel Huddleston Visits Prince Henry’s

Nigel Huddleston MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, paid a visit to Prince Henry’s High School today. During his visit, he attended a Q&A assembly where he answered questions from our Sixth Form students.

The assembly provided a platform for students to ask questions about a range of issues, including the European Court of Human Rights, careers in politics, and the role of the Battle of Evesham in local history. Our MP was impressed by the thought-provoking questions posed by the students and was pleased to engage in a meaningful dialogue with them.

Following the assembly, Mr Huddleston met a group of Year 9 students who are preparing for Wychavon’s annual “Democracy Day” in Pershore where local students present petitions on community issues to local councillors.

Before leaving, Mr Huddleston met with the school’s Senior Leadership Team to discuss the pressing issues facing education. The meeting provided an opportunity for our MP to gain insight into the challenges faced by schools and to offer support to schools in overcoming these challenges.
