Last week, the Student Librarian team came together to express their gratitude to the Year 13 Student Librarians, who have made a significant contribution to the life and spirit of the Learning Resource Centre.
As they now focus on their upcoming A level exams, they will be passing the baton to the rest of the team, who will carry on their fantastic work in championing reading at the heart of Prince Henry’s.
To mark the occasion in the traditional Prince Henry’s LRC way, Mrs Adams gifted Anna, Dylan, Olivia and Thomas a spider plant nurtured from the plants that reside in our beautiful LRC. The gift was a symbolic way for them to take a piece of the LRC with them as they leave Prince Henry’s—and act as a reminder to always keep reading. We also congratulated our Year 11 Librarians, Rhys, Max, Jack and Jack, who are too embarking on GCSE exam leave. Rhys and Max have volunteered since Year 9, and we are looking forward to them continuing their journey with us next year.
The remaining Student Librarians are looking forward to taking on extra responsibility in the year ahead. They are all a wonderful asset to our Library.
