On Tuesday, 2nd December, all members of Lichfield House gathered in the Henrician Theatre to celebrate the achievements of house members.
Among those recognised were the newly elected House Ambassadors and House Leaders for Lichfield:
Year 9 House Ambassador – Bethany Clee
Year 10 House Ambassador – Isabella Rudge
Year 11 House Ambassador – Abigail Goodge
Year 12 House Leaders – Thea Harrison and Jess Love-Shaw
Additionally, those who have taken part in recent inter-house sporting fixtures received our appreciation for their efforts on the Rugby and Hockey pitches.
Following this, House Point Awards were given to students who have been recognised by their teachers as having worked diligently and for having embodied the Prince Henry’s values, both within the classroom and beyond. Members of the Senior Leadership Team presented 24 students with awards in total, with Jamie Bennett, Katie Jervis, Marcelina Tylec and Richard Talbot-Smith getting special recognition for achieving their House Award after collecting an excellent 240 house points. A real example for the rest of the house to look up to, they should be rightly proud of their efforts.
I look forward to seeing even more members of Lichfield House on stage receiving awards at the next House Assembly so we can congratulate them not only for the outstanding classwork they produce, but also for arriving to school promptly every morning, maintaining excellent attendance rates and putting themselves forward to participate in some of the many inter-house competitions available at Prince Henry’s High School.
