Lichfield House Assembly

On Thursday 30th April, all members of Lichfield House gathered in the Henrician Theatre to celebrate the achievements of house members. Among those recognised were those who have represented the house excellently in recent inter-house fixtures in football and netball. Following this, House Point Awards were given to students who have been recognised by their teachers as having worked diligently and for having embodied the Prince Henry’s values, both within the classroom and beyond. Members of the Senior Leadership Team presented 39 students with awards in total. A special mention to Charlotte Openshaw, Isabelle Rudge, Victor Wicher and Marcelina Tylec who, after collecting an excellent 300 house points were rewarded with the Prince Henry’s High School Special Recognition Award – the most prestigious award in the house system.  A real example for the rest of the house to look up to, they should be rightly proud of their efforts.

Members of Lichfield House should be incredibly proud of their efforts this year, not only for the outstanding classwork they produce, but also for arriving to school promptly every morning, maintaining excellent attendance rates and putting themselves forward to participate in some of the many inter-house competitions available at Prince Henry’s High School. Students can now look forward to the rest of the summer term and in particular Games Day and Sports Day which are the most important events in the house calendar. I look forward to seeing how well students will represent their house and also look forward to our next house assembly which will see even more members of Lichfield House on stage receiving awards.
