On Thursday, 29th January, all members of Lichfield House gathered in the Henrician Theatre to celebrate the achievements of house members.
Among those recognised were the newly appointed Sport House Leaders:
- Eben Gittens (Captain) and Alistair Slade (Vice-Captain)
- Inna Herford (Captain) and Poppy Whelan (Vice-Captain)
Additionally, members of Lichfield House that helped raise money for Interact charities at the Christmas Fayre at the end of the Autumn term were also recognised for their efforts.
Following this, House Point Awards were given to students who have been recognised by their teachers as having worked diligently and for having embodied the Prince Henry’s values, both within the classroom and beyond. Members of the Senior Leadership Team presented 52 students with awards in total. A special mention to Tahlia Walker, Adam Adsett, William Archard and Jamie Bennett who, after collecting an excellent 300 house points were rewarded with the Prince Henry’s High School Special Recognition Award – the most prestigious award in the house system. A real example for the rest of the house to look up to, they should be rightly proud of their efforts.
I look forward to seeing even more members of Lichfield House on stage receiving awards at the next House Assembly so we can congratulate them not only for the outstanding classwork they produce, but also for arriving to school promptly every morning, maintaining excellent attendance rates and putting themselves forward to participate in some of the many inter-house competitions available at Prince Henry’s High School.
