This week, our Interact students held their annual assemblies for each year group. They began by explaining what Interact is and how students can get involved, before reflecting on the fantastic events held last year. Thanks to the generosity and support of our school community, these events helped raise over £6,700 for our chosen charities, Midlands Air Ambulance and Amnesty International.
This year, our chosen charities are the LGBT Foundation and Cool Earth. To support these fantastic causes, we have some exciting fundraising events planned, including our Traitors: Teacher Edition event on Wednesday 21 October and our annual Drop the Mic competition on Friday 4 December.
Our students spoke incredibly well and were fantastic ambassadors for both Interact and our school. A huge well done to Tom Hill, Amelia Andrews, Lilia Underwood, Michael Rees, Alex Jones, Isobel Tombs and Teresa Haynes for delivering such an engaging and informative assembly!
