As part of our accreditation as a Centre of Excellence for the Inclusion Quality Mark, staff from Prince Henry’s have the opportunity to meet regularly with colleagues from other IQM holders to share ideas and best practices in relation to working with, and supporting, vulnerable students. On 13th November, we were delighted to welcome representatives from 23 local schools to Prince Henry’s for a cluster meeting that was led by an IQM Ambassador.
As well as having a tour of the school and visiting lessons, our visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the way in which Prince Henry’s Learning Support Department works with students with SEND, as well as the school’s work to meet the diverse educational needs of those students following alternative curriculum pathways via our Lodge and Bridge programmes.
