Home School Agreement

Thank you for choosing to send your child to Prince Henry’s High School.

Our guiding principle is that of inclusivity and aspiration, where every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential irrespective of their abilities, aptitudes and strengths in line with the school’s Mission Statement and Values.

As you may be aware, all state schools are encouraged to have in place a Home School Agreement and I would like to think that all our parents/carers, students and teachers will feel happy to sign up to the Prince Henry’s Home School Agreement. This Agreement has been developed over a number of years following consultation with students, teachers, parents and carers.

Advice from the Government via the Department for Education (DfE) makes it quite clear that refusal to sign up to the Agreement will not provide exemption for any student from the normal rules that apply to everybody else in the school.
