Our new Year 9 students have made an outstanding start to their journey at Prince Henry’s. This week’s assembly focused on the importance of seizing opportunities for personal development, both within school and in the wider community. At Prince Henry’s, we are proud to offer a broad and enriching programme of extra-curricular clubs and activities, underpinned by high-quality teaching and a strong pastoral ethos. Students were encouraged to take ownership of their growth by engaging fully in school life and exploring opportunities beyond the classroom—developing confidence, resilience, and the cultural capital that will support them throughout their education and into adult life.

This weeks Year 10 assembly focused on the value of being consistent in students daily lives and education. The assembly highlighted how small, repeated actions such as completing homework on time, revising regularly, attending school, being punctual, and maintaining a positive attitude can lead to significant long-term success.
Students were encouraged to view consistency not as perfection, but as repeating positive actions on a daily basis. The assembly explored how consistent habits build resilience, improve academic performance, and help shape strong character both in and out of the classroom.
Through examples students were challenged to think about the routines they currently follow and how they might improve them. The key message was clear: special moments do not happen as a result of one off efforts, but as a result of consistently doing the right thing.
