am used to marvelling at the musical achievements of PHHS students who happily perform on the stage of the Henrician Theatre. Tuesday July 8th 2025 was a the beginning of a new venture for the school and its Academy Partners as we hosted a summer concert which showcased all four schools in the Worcestershire Hills Trust plus St Egwin’s one of our feeder schools. WOW, what a magical evening it turned out to be. Children as young as five years old from Blackwell First School and Charford First School performed alongside students from Bredon Hill Middle school, St Egwin’s and Prince Henry’s High School to provide an entertaining end to the 2024-2025 school year. All of the students sang with great enthusiasm and obviously enjoyed performing on the big stage in front of parents / carers and friends. Mr Bullas, Director of Music for the Worcestershire Hills Trust, did a wonderful job in coordinating all of the school with the support of staff from all schools. Music is definitely alive in the hills around Worcestershire.
Many thanks to all who enabled this concert to happen. Let us hope it is the first of many joint performances for the Trust.
