Forty seven year 12 and 13 students are in Snowdonia this week completing their Gold DofE training and assessed expeditions.
Both expeditions started off in Beddgelert on Monday morning. The year 13 students, aiming to complete their DofE, set off in a northerly direction after their assessor made it clear what was expected.
The year 12 students set off in an easterly direction, practising with staff the navigational skills they will need to do the assessed expedition next year.
Both groups of students are appreciating the cooler temperatures than those experienced last week and are confident of making it to Betws-y-coedwhere their expeditions finish on Thursday.
