I am immensely proud that Prince Henry’s has been awarded the Gold Career Mark, recognising the guidance and support all students receive in helping them with their next steps after school.
This has been achieved through the dedication and support of colleagues and students alike, in particular motivating me to pass the level 6 qualification in Career guidance and development, an essential requirement for the Gold award.
The Career Mark assessor concluded that learners have an excellent awareness of opportunities at post 16 and post 18 and are taking opportunities to apply to a range of destinations
Overall, Prince Henry’s High School shows clear commitment to the outcomes of their learners and supports them effectively to make that transition into the working world. The school clearly sees developing well rounded and optimistic young people as a core focus and they achieve this through constant reflection and adaptation to ensure their careers guidance program is as effective as it clearly is.
