GERMAN EXCHANGE
At the end of September we hosted the return leg of the German Exchange. Our pupils went to Dresden earlier in the year and now it was time for them to return the hospitality they had received when they were in Germany. The visitors enjoyed an action packed week. Dresden is the twin town of Coventry so we took the visitors and their partners for a look at Coventry and the Cathedral. They also visited Worcester, went bowling and took part in the Year 9 European Day of Languages, very ably hosting a workshop about teenage life in Dresden and Germany. Our pupils were wonderful hosts to the visitors and took them out and about over the weekend to London, Oxford, Warwick Castle and Stratford to name but a few of the destinations. Once again the German visitors impressed us very much with their fantastic command of English and were very gracious guests. Our pupils, who are all in Year 11, deserve our thanks and congratulations for being such organised and dedicated hosts and making the visit such a special time for our visitors.
