GCSE RESULTS 2021
Following the A Level results, Year 11 students at Prince Henry’s are celebrating after achieving excellent GCSE grades.
We are also delighted that many of our students worked extremely hard to achieve their individual target grades. In a large cohort of 307 students, the top performer was Theo Rodgers who achieved an outstanding twelve Grade 9 results. There were also many other students who have achieved the equivalent of an outstanding nine or more 7-9 numeric grades. There are so many personalised success stories that are shown in our results day video above.
Headteacher Dr Evans commented “Congratulations to all the students. They have been a remarkable, resilient and motivated group of young people who thoroughly deserve the outstanding academic success they have achieved. Whilst the students were unable to sit examinations due to the extraordinary circumstances of the pandemic, my staff and I are delighted with the outcomes that we have seen. These GCSE results reflect the hard work of the students, their parents, and the teachers here at Prince Henry’s who have supported them across two difficult academic years. Our motto at Prince Henry’s is “Great things grow from something small”, and the GCSE achievements this week, coupled with our impressive A-Level results earlier this week, are a testament to this. I am extremely proud of all of our students rising to the challenge presented to them by the pandemic and I offer my sincerest congratulations to everyone concerned. We wish all our Year 11 students every success with their future studies or careers, and are looking forward to welcoming many of them back to our Sixth Form in September.”
