GCSE RESULTS 2016
Following on from the wonderful A-Level successes last week, we have been delighted with the GCSE results achieved by our students at Prince Henry’s High School. The overall results for 2016 have once again been outstanding. Our top performer Isabel Bromfield achieved an amazing 12A* and 2 A grades.

69% of the cohort achieved 5 A*-C passes including Maths and English, and 76% gained 5 or more A*-C grades. Impressively 9% of the cohort achieved 10A*-A grades and 23% of students gained 5 or more A*-A grades. Many of our students worked extremely hard to achieve their target grades with 99% achieving 5A*-G grades. We are also delighted that the combined progress measures in both Maths and English were up on our scores from last year.In terms of some of the benchmark figures, approximately a quarter of all the grades were at A*-A, half were A*-B and over three quarters of all the grades were between A*-C.
