On the 17th of April, we hosted our annual extra-curricular fayre where staff and student came together to showcase the clubs they run and participate in, to recruit potential new members from year 9 to sixth form. Students arrived in large numbers with their friends encouraging them the try something new, great fun was had by all especially at the Interact stand where students and staff participated in games as well as live music performed by our very own talented musicians Aaron Oldfield Y10 on keyboard and Kamilla Gyorgy y11 on saxophone.
There was an incredible range of activities on display from retro gaming club where Mr Brant set up Donkey Kong for the students to have a go which they had fun doing (and it was complete nostalgia for the staff!) to drama club with Miss Rose where students can unleash their inner Hamilton. There really is something for everyone, whether you enjoy competitive sports, creative writing or relaxing with some crochet with Miss Rozga.
A great time was had by all, it was wonderful to see students speaking so passionately about their clubs and sharing what they do with both staff and students.
We are already looking forward to the next one!
