We recently attended a meeting with David McVean, Deputy Director of the Education Funding Agency (EFA), to explore when a National Funding Formula will be implemented. For years Worcestershire has suffered in comparison to other areas of the UK, and the unintended consequences of the Formula were explored with the Deputy Director. We hope that as a result of the meeting and dialogue with the EFA, the process of introducing funding for Prince Henry’s at the national median will be expedited.
During our visit we also had the opportunity to visit the new Modern Language building. The additional fourteen classrooms, new server room and the large wide concourse will make a significant difference to the accommodation the school provides.
We are looking forward to the new building opening later this term.
