On Tuesday 15th October, the actor Edward Bennett visited the school and delivered a workshop to our Sixth Form Drama and Theatre Studies students. Edward worked on many acting techniques such as ethos, pathos, and logos within scripts, as well as studying extracts from Shakespeare including our set text, ‘Much Ado About Nothing’. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the morning and had the opportunity to do a Q and A session with Edward, asking him questions about his own performance as Benedick at the RSC, and professional advice about career choices and pathways as an actor.
