Sunday 12th March saw the start of Prince Henry’s DofE expedition season with the annual Bronze training walk in Winchcombe. 82 students and 14 staff successfully navigated some muddy and windy terrain. Still, everyone had a great time, and developed vital navigation skills, as well as bonding as expedition groups in preparation for their qualifying walks in June. Participants will now complete a comprehensive training programme back in school learning first aid, map and compass and camp craft skills.
