In September, Evesham Town Council very kindly donated £100 to Prince Henry’s High School in order to purchase literacy resources. We were able to put this money towards a bespoke collection of Barrington Stoke dyslexia-friendly texts. Each book combines accessible layouts, carefully considered fonts, and engaging storytelling to support readers with dyslexia while ensuring age‑appropriate themes and content. With a diverse mix of genres and voices, the collection provides inclusive options that help pupils build confidence, fluency, and comprehension. Last Wednesday morning was the first day that our Year 12 Reading Buddies group was able to try them out with some of our Year 9 students during registration in some paired reading. They were a great success!
