Prince Henry's
High School

On Monday 19th October, all members of Deacle House gathered in the Henrician Theatre for an assembly celebrating the achievements of their peers.

House Point Awards were presented to 33 students who have been recognised by their teachers for working diligently and embodying the Prince Henry’s values, both in the classroom and beyond. Members of the Senior Leadership Team presented the awards, and Scarlett Maurice-Brant, Finley Hooper, Betsy-Bo Buckley, Jakub Echolc, Emilia Senkyr, Kara Soave and Lia Wallis were the first students to receive the new platinum badge, awarded for earning 240 house points.

There are many upcoming opportunities for students to represent our House, including MasterChef, Inter House matches, the STEM Challenge and Retro Gaming.  There are additional opportunities for students to represent their houses and peers on the house and diversity council, with more details after the half-term break.

At the next House Assembly in the spring, I hope to see even more Deacle students on stage. We want to celebrate not only the outstanding work they produce in lessons, but also those who arrive promptly every morning, maintain excellent attendance, and put themselves forward for the many inter-house competitions available at Prince Henry’s High School.

Head of Deacle House
